The safety switch located above the leaver prevents the blade being accidentally exposed, further minimising the risk of injury.

The Chartron metal detectable safety knife features a trigger activated blade, suited for cutting cardboard, plastic strapping and general unpacking and processing applications. The safety switch located above the leaver prevents the blade being accidentally exposed, further minimising the risk of injury. The blade is adjustable to three precision cutting depths.
The body of the knife is manufactured from various grades of food safe metal detectable composite plastics, including Polycarbonate and Nylon. The blades and internal spring are both made from stainless steel, making the whole of the product fully metal detectable and food safe. The knife is compliant with standard No 1935/2004 (CE) of 27th October 2004 on materials and articles intended to come into contact with food.
